Texas A&M University and Chameleon to partner on Israel homeland security seminar
The Integrative Center for Homeland Security (ICHS) at Texas A&M
University has partnered with Chameleon Associates LLC to provide
continuing education units (CEUs) for Chameleon’s Behind the Scenes Seminar of Israel’s Counter-Terrorism and Security Operations.
Under
the arrangement, participants will be awarded up to 10 CEUs for
completing an essay based on several “re-ahead” articles and attending
the seminar sessions, including a session conducted by ICHS to discuss
Israel’s approach and its transferability to the organizational
environments of the individual participants.
ICHS Fellow Sharon Caudle has played a
leading role in homeland security education and training through
activities such as a graduate homeland security certificate program,
directed studies in homeland security, newsletters, podcasts, and
research resources.
Caudle is distinguished policymaker in residence at the Bush School of Government & Public Policy, and former
assistant director for homeland security at the Government Accounting
Office. She will provide guidance for the curriculum and faculty. The
material will enhance the study of homeland security operations in the
United States.
