Interpretation of Aerial Photographs – FRSC-398
This course identifies and evaluates natural and cultural features on aerial photographs; methods for extracting information concerning land use, vegetative cover, surface and structural features, urban/industrial patterns and archaeological sites. The class emphasizes the need for being able to think in a spatial context for a variety of environmental applications.

Learning objectives introduce students to the principles/equipment/techniques used to:
- Interpret aerial photographs and digital imagery;
- Obtain reliable measurements/maps from aerial photographs and digital imagery;
- Practically implement aerial photointerpretation in various disciplines.
