Global Veterinary Medicine and Foreign Animal Diseases – VTPB-948-308
The Course will provide an introduction to foreign animal diseases, organizations/agencies working in foreign animal diseases, and career opportunities. A series of lectures, providing an overview at foreign animal diseases, their impact both domestically and internationally on trade, and programs and agencies addressing foreign animal disease issues, will be presented by a diverse group of professionals working in the field of foreign animal diseases from the following organizations: CVM at TAMU; College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia; Texas Animal Health Commission; U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) International Services; and USDA/APHIS Veterinary Services).
