Master of Science in Homeland Security
Texas A&M has begun planning and faculty collaboration for a master of science in homeland security. As envisioned, the program would include a core of common policy courses, with electives concentrated in various departments to provide a tailored focus according to student interests. The final shape of the program has not been set, but participants in planning include: Agriculture, the Bush School, Vet Medicine, Public Health, Geography, GS, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, and many others.

Texas A&M faculty begins work on master’s degree program that offers unique approach to
homeland security studies
Work is now in progress at Texas A&M University on an interdisciplinary master’s degree program that will take a unique approach to the study of homeland security. Due to the complexity of establishing an interdisciplinary program -- and the many approval processes that must be completed -- we do not have an anticipated start date for the program at this time.
