The SSA is subdivided into seven branches which all have unique aspects of infrastructure protection to monitor. These subdivisions include: The National Training Center; Office of Security Operations; Office of Technology and Field Assistance; Office of Independent Oversight; Office of Classification; Office of Security Policy; and Office of Material Control and Accountability.

The website also provides information on SSA’s mission, and goals, as well as how each subdivision of the SSA works to achieve the SSA’s main goal of securing the nation’s energy resources. The SSA also makes available its publications on security and technology concerning the energy infrastructure on its website.
