Seeking Online Adjunct Faculty for Critical Infrastructure Protection Course
This course is a part of the graduate Certificate in Homeland Security program.
The Bush School of Government and Public Service – Texas A&M
University http://bush.tamu.edu is currently accepting applications for Online
Adjunct Faculty members to teach the graduate level course Homeland
Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection. This course is a part of the graduate
Certificate in Homeland Security program. (see http://bush.tamu.edu/extendeded/chls/
).
Online faculty are required to hold a minimum of a terminal degree applicable
to the teaching topic area from a regionally accredited institution (In special
cases a Masters degree with extensive work related experience can be considered
in lieu of some academic requirements).
Additionally, faculty should have work-place experience directly related
to the online course content area. Experience teaching online is preferred, but
not a requirement. All new Online Adjunct Faculty are required to complete a
three week online training course prior to the teaching appointment.
Faculty candidates should live in the Unites States. Broadband Internet access is recommended. Required online orientation and training are provided. Interested applicants should submit by email the following required documents: cover letter, resume/vitae, copies of terminal degree transcripts, and three letter of recommendation to onlinefaculty@bushschool.tamu.edu

The next online faculty training session will begin: August 2008 in preparation for teaching assignments for Fall 2008.
Homeland Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection Course Description: Survey an overview of the Nation's strategies for Critical Infrastructure Protection and securing cyberspace under the national definition of critical infrastructures as it exists today.
Note that this course has already been created and taught. Successful adjunct candidates should be prepared to provide minor updates to the course from semester to semester.
