Greg Miller

He earned BAs (1996) in Political Science and History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and began studying terrorism as a graduate student at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, where he received an MA (1998) in Security Policy Studies with a minor in Political Violence and Terrorism. During the Fall 2001 term he began teaching courses on terrorism at the Ohio State University, where he earned an MA (2000) and Ph.D. (2004) in Political Science. Greg regularly teaches courses on International Security, Terrorism, and American Foreign Policy. He has published in Security Studies and has a number of projects underway, including an article that is conditionally accepted at the journal, Terrorism and Political Violence. He is also the creator and co-director of the Summer Workshop on Teaching about Terrorism (SWOTT), a program designed to help faculty and advanced graduate students improve their teaching and research skills on terror-related topics.
